If you are considering a future in property management, get ready for a challenge!  A career in property management can prove to be both financially rewarding and it can help you put your strengths to work!

As a 19 year veteran in the multi family housing industry, I have had a lot of challenges and even more wins to look back.  I often get inquiries from friends and family asking about job opportunities in apartment maintenance and management.

The first thing I suggest is to go out and "shop" apartment communities to get an idea what the day in the life of a leasing agent, apartment manager, maintenance staff or housekeeper is really like.

If you live at an apartment community or know someone in leasing, reach out to those people and ask them what it's really like.  As for the good, the bad, and the ugly.

In an age of endless, free information, there are so many opportunities to test drive future careers, before taking the leap to pursue the next chapter in your professional life.

If you are a multi-tasker and like to wear a lot of different hats... Property Management could be for you!

If you are a people person, and value working with people and making a difference in your customers' days...even lives!  then Property Management could be for you!

If you love fixing things, building things and have an eye for detail... Property Management and maintenance could be a great fit for you!

Property management experience and great references can equate to job security and financial growth if you invest time in your personal development and love crushing business goals.

Have questions about getting your foot in the door with property management?  Just ask!
